Can you make a such sword to the covelite model? it really needs it.
for some reason when I gave the covelite a saber it went to the middle not his hand, and it was just the standard saber.
Anyway Ninja turtle dude there are some tutorials around this place some where but basically extract the default saber from assets0.pk3 put it in milkshape, modify it however, change the *flash and *parent to tag_flash and tag_parent. Then go to tools quake3 and generate control file (qc) right click on the control file then change like where you get the textures from and the model and change
$frames 1-30 (and the other with 1-30) to 1-1 instead of 1-30
Then export it as a .md3 and call it the same as the .qc file
