I've been having problems with shaders in Radiant. I've gone over the Rich Diesel tutorials, so please no links to it.

1.)I'm trying to make models solid. I have placed models successfully into my map. I've followed the Diesel tutorial: Placing misc_model, skinned and boxed, placed blocks all the way around the model, applied the texture system/physics_clip to it, compiled. I load up my map in-game and get physics_clip has no lightmap (or something). The model is obscured under the blocks I made around it, with the error skin (white lines) on the blocks.

2.)Also trying to make see-through glass. I'm having serious trouble finding the glass textures. I load texture>system and texture>common, but no glass.

I need to know HOW to apply shaders to brushes. Like the actual commands to apply shaders to brushes. If it's simply applying the textures to the blocks, then I'm still having problems. The textures do not have a white border around them, no textures do. What am I doing wrong?

Glasses can be found in kejim textures, littles black blocks, such as "security_glass" I've sincerely no idea about what is wrong for your clips -sorry-

Try GTK Radiant if you haven't done that, and compile with q3map2. Q3map2-compiles allows this for models:

Key: spawnflags Value: 2

Enter it in the entity window and the model will be solid in-game.

Glass is in test or tests.

Glasses are in either tests/test or system

Good luck (try loading tests he may have got it wrong)

But if it not in either then it means it's something with a pk3 file weather assets have been moved or replaced or new ones which cause errors.

Make sure you have no files in base cept the ones you had to begin with put all custom files into a new folder to keep them safe.
