I was just wondering: Are the doors in JK2 a little too tall when compared to the size of the characters? The doors in JK2 (and JA) are almost twice the size of the character! Why in the world would such a tall door be needed? If it were those larger and wider doors, I wouldn't be complaining. but the thinner, 'one-man-at-a-time' doors are of the same height as well. Why? One can reason that it is to allow different species to get through doors, since not all species are of the same height (Chewbacca, for example.). But in the game, all the imperial officers are human, and the Empire is said to be anti-alien. Ok, maybe they made it so excessively tall alien prisoners (like Chewbacca again. In the DS1.) can get through.

The size of the door makes it difficult for me to make certain maps, for example, maps of locations I have been to (like my own home, my classroom, etc.). Why? That is because I use the height of the doors to allow me to judge how big the other parts are supposed to be relative to the door. I had everything correctly placed, almost correctly sized. Imagine my chagrin when I saw my character seem so small. My own room's ceiling seemed to be 4 to 5 metres high, even though in real life, it is only 2.4m. And the door...

And if I were to make a door of the 'right-size', the room would seem too small and not be comfortable to run around in.

So... are the JK2 and JA characters too small in size...

Ehm.. just make your map smaller. And I made a map of my house once, I made extra large on purpose, sop there is room to move around in. As well, I just left the doors half-opened...

I have noticed that the doors were smaller in one of JA's level (the one with that Rax character.). I haven't noticed the rest, though, but that particular level's doors were definitely more 'real-life-sized'.
