A sky box. You lot are terrible - don't you ever read other posts? Skyboxes do not exist in jk2. The shader does all the work for you. If you want sky, then go to the skies texture set in radiant, and apply a sky SHADER to it. Not a texture, but a shader. Shaders have white lines around them. In game, it will draw a massive box automatically for you and cover and light it with the sky shader. Never draw a massive box over your level. The shader does it for you. Never draw a massive box. Never.

.. sounds awfuly complicated . So a shader does the work for you, but what if you have windows all over your maps wont you have to draw a big box around your map then apply the shader?

You could just put a wall behind your window (just a small one) and apply the shader to that. In game, it will look as far away as if you drew a massive box.
