True, but if you want the menu to play another music without overwriting that file you must open one of the .menu files (I think it is the "main.menu". I can't be sure because I haven't here the assets0.pk3 file...) with notepad:deal:. Then you'll find a command line with the directory of the mp3 to play in the menu, by default music\cairn_bay\impbasee_explore.mp3. All you need to do is change the directory and then put the MP3 in the new folder (always in assets...)

Ill do his thing, cause the music I want to put on the menu would make the person want to jump off a cliff if they had to listen it for a level :)

I changed the directory in the file and then tried to play my new music but the main menu just comes up silent. I made it music/Requim and then put it together. I cant figure out what I did wrong. BTW, main.menu is in assets1.pk3, not 0 is that helps any.

Oh. My fault. Sorry. Are you sure that main.menu is the right menu file. (I can't check it now, you know why...). Try to chack the other menu files...

Well, I checked, and main.menu DOES havea directory on how to change the music, but it doesent seem to work. I just get silence. it should be "music music/menu/Requim" right? I made that menu folder by the way. Also, I have the filenames matching exactly, I added "music music/" because that was the original setup. Maybe I should make it "...menu/Requim.mp3"? Well, Ill play around with it for now
