Phantom I tried to get the instructions you gave me to work with no luck. I could'nt find the texture mirror_floor2 you spoke of it is"nt even in the map pk3 file I downoaded. just three alfa channel textures. Any examples or other help you could offer Thanks for your time I don't want to remember how much time I spent this weekend trying to get this to work.... John

mirror_floor2 is texture from file assets2.pk3 . Do you have that file in your gamedata/base folder? If you don't, then I'll send you texture file. File name is qer_mirror2b.tga, and it contains mirror_floor2, and I think that it contains mirror_floor also and some other textures. Place it in the gamedata/base/textures/tests folder. If you don't have tests folder then create it. Textures folder is created by Radiant. Just, give me your e-mail.

the mirrory floor is just a floor that has a mirrory effect, its a shader so u gotta send the .shader wit the code in it toooo, if u wanna make a mirror or camera use portal from system texture set, i did, camera is fun, and mirror is fun too, but they just like sky, gotta point out into void if u want it to work right..............

np =D and for the shader to work right u gotta put both .shader and the texture in the right path tingies, .shader in shaders and texture whereever it was!

Yes I did get it Thanks a lot I put it in my tests folder restarted and nothing. so I put another copy in another folder tried agian and it showed up weird... anyway it works I didn't add anything to my shader's folder. The effect Zeus achieved must of took a lot of lighting work I light my test map from the ceiling and I keep getting gray wisps as I move about chasing my custom Olsen Twins reborn assassins (only kidding) must play with the lighting more. One last question can you make other textures act as mirrors say a brownish marble texture would be great for some kind of palace/temple room??
