Hi everyone! I'm Natasha! And I have some questions... I got some of these really cool models, but I can't do anything with them because ModView won't open them. They're the 'new' ones (I guess they're new, because I haven't seen them in Jedi Outcast), and they're the odd ones; the Aalya (did I spell that right?), and um, the Mara Jade one (she has great hair!), and um, some Succubus one. But I can't edit any of them. What do I have to do to edit/use them in the game? Thank you in advance! MUAH! Love, Natasha!:D

You need to extract "shaders" folder from assets(0 or 1).pk3 and folder "models\_humanoid" to the same place where you have your models. Look at tree: shaders\ models\players\yourmodel models\players\_humanoid Now it should work

If not, unzip all assets0 and assets1 (over 1GB free disk space) and insert your model to models\players (ModView works 100%)

Um, I did all that, but I think it's because these models aren't IN this game. It's the Twe'leck (did I spell that right?) lady, and a female-y Darth Maul lady-person, and a model called Mara Jade. They are all in the Models\Players\ sub-directories... :uhm:

Tell me why ModViev don't want open them (it must be .glm file) It's probably in pop-up window.

To your question from first post: You cannot edit models in .glm format

Hehe! Oopz! (I had them in the wrong directory!) Now, I've got a great character for me! She's gorgeous! RaVeN says that he'll do it later, but asked me to ask you how to change the weapon that a character uses. I think he wants to give the new Jan (Natasha! :nodding: ) a nastier gun, like that repeater one. Help again please! P.S.- I'm not editing the .glm's, I'm painting over the .jpg's (and mixing and matching!).:D

If your character is SP - NPC, make new .npc file, where you can set health level, what weapons is he carrying, how fast is it... If it's for MP, make a bot where you set what weapon do he like (if you set repeater), bot will be running with all grabbed weapons in map, but use mostly repeater (if he has one).

I can help you with SP and MP both :)

So the .npc file would do it? What do I put in it? Another question. The Reborn in the game are only one model with different skins; how do I make it so that one TYPE of them (say, the Acrobat one) is a different model? I want the game to recognize this. Um, and all the stuff I'm doing is only for SP (I had to get RaVeN to explain the difference between SP - Single Player, and MP - MultiPlayer... HEhe!). Thank you SOOOOO much (so far!) Love, Natasha!:D

Go to http://www.jk3files.com/file.info?ID=20874 download it, unzip pk3, and you will see how it was done :) .

Reborns: No, it's the same model, but a lot of skins. You can play them by typing into console playermodel reborn\acrobat , but I'm not sure. Try connect "Reborn" and "Acrobat" with [space] _ / \

I will be back sunday :uhoh:

So there is no way that I can add a model to substitute for one of the types? I wanted to put this nasty Sithy lady (I think she's called Succubus!) in as one of the Reborn, but since they're all the same, it would change ALL of them, right? Is there a .cfg file for the game I can edit to change this?
