I hate GTK Radient. When I make maps I can see through the walls and cant see the textures, unless Im really far away. JK2Radient is much better.
yea jk2 is better for makeing the maps and gtk is better for compiling them, at least thats my opinion :)
If you can't see walls in GtkRadiant it's probably because you don't have it configured properly or you didn't install it correctly. Personally, I like JK2Radiant's appearance more but on the other hand GtkRadiant is more stable and has fewer bugs and more options. The plugins that come with GtkRadiant make it all worth it. If you're not going to use GtkRadiant to edit maps, you should at least take advantage of the plugins.
me no editor, but id use jk2radiant. seems more userfreindly
... jsut to say i like GTK Radient better becasue of when you right click in the 3D view box you can move more FREELY and in JK2 Radient you cant!
well considering JK2radiant is a scaled down version of GTKradiant, I prefer GTK. Ummm there are just alot of features that are missing JK2, and I can't compile iwth it in XP so there is my 2 cents. Although both crash all the time, because of my xabre video card.

yeah you got a buggy version of GTK. The reason I like it is because it is coded by people who use it, rather than a depressed tools programmer who would rather be coding the game than the editor.
I use jkradiant coz I didn't know about gtk radient till after I got jk2radiant but I still like jk2radiant better, I got it from god of mapping tutorials RichDiesel
GTK is better al over in my opinion its basicly just a more advanced version of JKradient. Of course if you don't know much bout mapping or dont understand things eaisier than JKradient might be better. Oh and GTK can compile well, has alot less bugs, and is supported if you need help
Is there a way so that I cant see through the walls like in JK2Radient?
