While it is good, it has alot of issues...imbalances, glitches, bugs, coding errors, etc. So if you plan on getting it, I'd wait until the first few patches are released.

The Zann Consortium is a bit overpowered, but the good news is that they make an excelent and challenging opponent for the empire of rebellion. I just love hyperspacing in the Death Star, the Executor, and an Interdictor, and taking them out one by one. BWAHAHAHA I say if you already own EAW, then you got to get this, if not for the Consortium, then for the new units.

Either way, I'd say if u have EaW then get FoC. imho it is totally worth it. Although I know that some people would like to disagree with me. But oh well

I agree though, that the imbalance makes it more challenging for the Rebels and Empire(which is sort of nice), but towards the end of a campaign, the Consortium just starts getting annoying.

The end of the story mode is just WAY to easy as the Cons. You CANT lose as long as you have most of the planets availabe.XD With just some Star Vipers and a level 2 space station I can fend off at least 3 acclamators!

With a level 5 station, Aggressor, and Crusader, I fended off 12 Acclamators, Thrawn, Executor, Piett, 1 ISD, 2 Victories, 2 Broadsides, Arc Hammer, and 4 Tartans.

This was on the Maw though, with the big defensive ring (which I had alternating missiles and lasers). :)

Yes, so when you play against the Consortium, you wipe them out and then concentrate on the Empire. Be careful when removing corruption with a hero unit. All the creatures on the planet may rebel and the planet will go neutral, wiping out all your bases, if you remove certain kinds of corruption, and if you don't remove any corruption, then they will start to sabotage and wipe out your bases, one by one.

PROS: All the major mods come out on it. New playable faction New playable campaign New heroes, such as Thrawn and Luke New abilities New units for all sides Executor SSD for the Empire as Vader's unit Eclipse SSD in Campaign (Last mission) Transport units for transportation across the battlefield Consortium gets a new lightsaber type (Lightsaber Whip for Silri, a Nightsister) A rancor named Cuddles Corruption is cool

CONS: Bugs (Should be fixed in patches) Balance issues (Should be fixed in patches) Corruption gets annoying for Imperials and Rebels No extenstion campaign for Imperials and Rebels

FINAL NOTE: Overall, a good game. I like it. Lots of cool new features, and a new campaign. There is a lack of Imperial and Rebel campaigns, though.
