Here's a list of ships I've been trying to figure out the origin of, that is, whether or not they're fan-made or canon:

Dauntless Cruiser Mediator Cruiser Thranta-Class Frigate MC50 MC60 MC75 MC120 Legacy-Class Star Destroyer Tyrant-Class Cruiser (or whatever it's called) Titan-Class Cruiser (or whatever it's called) Dominator-Class Star Destroyer TIE Interceptor Scout

Most of these I have dedicated a decent deal of time trying to find on Wookieepedia without success.

I may edit/extend the list (or place answers next to certain ships to mark which one they are for anyone else looking at this topic out of curiosity) Also, please provide info as to where a ship is from and/or link to it's article please.

Thank you!

Well I can tell you now. The Legacy SD was thought up by one Howard Day who is a resident member of scifi-meshes website so is considered fanbased.

Dauntless Cruiser - Dauntless-class heavy cruiser - Wookieepedia, the Star Wars Wiki Dominator-Class Star Destroyer - that's that thing Interdictor Star Destroyer - Wookieepedia, the Star Wars Wiki

Others are probably fanon. Also there are some mistakes about appearances of some ships i.e. Strident-class Star Defender from Spaceship AddOn mod appears to be built by Mon Calamari, however Wookieepedia says that's a corellian warship.

All the mon calamari cruisers after the designation MC-90 are uncannon i believe. The tie interceptor scout, and Legacy Star destroyer are uncannon, or fan based creations. Several of the ships you've named up there cant be found on wookieepedia because their names are made up by fans who needed to designate them somehow. They are cannon however.

MC75 MC120 Legacy-Class Star Destroyer Tyrant-Class Cruiser (or whatever it's called) Titan-Class Cruiser (or whatever it's called Tie interceptor scout. these are fanon. the Dominator is canon, as is the dauntless, and perhaps the MC50.

Ah, just figured something out: The MC 120 is a fanon name, but it is actually a canon Mon Cal Cruiser of an unlisted class - "Independence" is the only known ship's canon name.

Also, just a fun-fact for anyone else, the Praetor-Class ship isn't what it's supposed to be. Both the class and the design are canon, but they are never sourced as being one and the same.
