One day I saw a program which is absolutely brilliant to edit an Enemy Territory demo in. One option atleast was to make the camera follow a certain path that makes you move in ways that you can't normally do in spectator mode. You can do things like in this movie (example: from 00:28 till 01:33) YouTube - Enemy Territory

Does anyone know the name of this program? Or another method of doing this? Thnx in advance!

Free one? Quake Video Maker

Otherwise what you see used for high quality and with many effects movies is Adobe Premier and Sony Vegas.

I have no experience in editing so I don't know what program is used for that effect.

I think in order to get a video to look like that, you have to change the FOV settings in-game on a non PB server.

That movie is just done with recorded demo's. When loading a demo you have full ability to change any cvar, even cheat protected ones. In the ETPRO mod you have the ability to use Freecam, same as being a spectator in a demo. Most likely the start of that video is done that way and with some video editing program are the effects added.
