On paper 2012 looks to be a year of good films, lets just hope that it follows up on itself.

I would hate to see classic series like LOTR and MIB ruined much like pirates of the Carribean was.

I wouldn't worry too much about The Hobbit films; they're being done by the same person, and I truly believe they'll be done spectacularly.

MIB3 however, I'm unsure about. I thought MI4 would be ruined (because it was released so long after the first three) though I was pleasantly surprised. It turned out good. I doubt I'll be watching MIB3 at the cinema though, it'll probably be a rental one for me.

I think Battleship is going to be a good hit. Action packed at the very least.

I've noticed films are leaning more towards sci-fi action/horror recently. My favourite :p.

One film I would like to see a sequel to is 28 weeks later.

28 Months later? :lulz: I think they've concluded that story, what else is there to tell?

I recently saw a trailer for A Dangerous Method, which is about Carl Jung, Sigmund Freud and a female patient who comes between them. It's directed by David Cronenberg, who also did Eastern Promises and A History of Violence, two movies I also really liked.

No they didn't. At the end of 28 weeks you see the helicopter crashed and zombies running around near the Eiffel tower meaning the virus has spread to mainland Europe. It isn't over!

Can't think of the name but I saw a trailer a few days back about some 'beings' that drain energy, looks awesome. Its being released here Friday 13th.

Totes McTurner;560008728 Years Later, silly.[/QUOTE]No. We first had 28 Days later, then 28 Weeks later. Logically, the next film (which there wont be anyway) would be 28 Months later. :nodding:

I haven't seen the film in some time. :uhm:

Sounds like potential. Throw the film name at us once you recover it, wont you? :)
