Ever since hearing about the coming 300 film I've been most eager to get my hands on a copy of the original graphic novel by Frank Miller.

I cant seem to find it anywhere and when I did find it once it was a pretty large, kinda odd shaped, hardcover version that would set me back quite a few bones at this current time.

Is this the ONLY version ever released? Just a large rectangular shaped hardcover version?

There are 5 issues of the entire story. Although Amazon seems to have the book of the entire story (88 pages?).

I learned all about the actual battle at Thermopylae with the Spartan 300 in my Latin class this year. I'm very interested in seeing this movie. My Latin teacher was actually surprised by how historically accurate the movie appears, at first glance anyway.

They probably would have the 5 issues on Ebay but simply I hate Ebay...if I'm gonna use my money I want to actuallly place an order and get it...screw this auctioning and waiting around crap

It's funny b/c my Latin teacher thinks the movie is gonna be rubbish seeing as how it's going to be inaccurate...and it will be...upfront the movie makes you believe that 300 spartans were left behind when really it was the 300 spartans, and close to 900 other greek nation soldiers that decided to stay back...also...what's with the random monsters and such?

It's not going to be accurate AT ALL but it still will be flat out amazing and I'm actually putting a stash of money off to the side to be able to pay for the numerous tickets to go a see it multiple times.
