TG Daily - Blade Runner slated for massive five-disc Blu-ray, HD DVD release

At this week's Home Media Expo in Las Vegas, Warner announced that the Blu-ray and HD DVD versions of the movie will include several different cuts of the film, including a special 25th anniversary edition.

The total scope of bonus content is still a mystery, but with five discs easily housing over 100 GB of content, it's the most capacity that has ever been seen for a movie on any format.

The 1982 cult classic will also be coming out to standard DVD as part of the movie's 25th anniversary.

Over 100GB of content? Several versions?

That movie is seriously overrated.

I know its done wonders for the sci-fi and cyberpunk genres, but come on.

Some of us like it, marsoe.

Some of us are happy that it's being released in theatres again this fall...

I love that movie, the setting, and the continuation of the story in the novels by K.W. Jeter. Too bad I haven't got a blu-ray player =p

I got a blu-ray player in my PS3, but I'll be back at school without my HDTV this fall. I'll still get it and watch it, it's a great movie.

BLASPHEMER!!! GET THEE BEHIND ME SPAWN OF SATAN !!!

Bladerunner is one of my favorite movies. But I like the narrated version, it seems to set the mood and mindset of what Deckard's thinking better for me.
