What is your favourite foreign film? This could differ depending on where you actually live.

I would say, Downfall is the best one I have ever seen. Made in Germany.

Yeah, Der Untergang (German title) indeed popped into my mind at first.

I must say however, that I haven't seen many foreign movies. Now I think about, I think it's time to look some good ones up.

So, Der Untergang mentioned, there are some Asians ones I liked..

Hero (Not totally sure, but I thought it was mainly Asian) House of Flying Daggers (Same) Ong-Bak (Not that good, has kick-ass action though)

Oh, and I'm looking forward to the Russian 'Night-Watch". Looks cool, I must say. First out of a coming trilogy.

Hell, All American films are foreign for you. ;)

Yes, that's it Der Untergang... very, very well made... and more realistic since it is spoken in German. (Well i know it was made in Germany but... Oh well.)

I see ong-bak was mentioned. Although the story isn't quite as good as some, the main character's actor did all of his stunts without any wires or other aid. He also actually hits the other people. I think thats kinda cool.
