it really dosent matter to me as long as the movie is good but that would be a cool title for the movie. what do you guys think.

Could Batman Begins 2 really be titled ‘The Joker?’

TheJoker.JPGThe latest Batman Begins sequel rumor making its way around the internet is the title: The Joker. Accoring to the Movie Blog, in a recent interview, Michael Caine (who played Alfred in Begins) said a few things about the sequel: “Christopher Nolan who directed Batman is doing a smaller film called The Prestige about magicians and it’s very interesting. And we’re going to make The Joker next year.” First off, let me say (like John did at TMB), that this isn’t AT ALL confirmation. Caine is just an actor, he’s old, maybe a little confused. Secondly, let me say, this sounds like an awesome title to me—but, I’m fairly sure that it won’t happen. The studios would never release a Batman film and call it simply The Joker. Still, it would be awesome and a change. I assume if this were the case, by some chance, it would mean the movie would focus a lot on the Joker character, which would be awesome as well (especially if it were played by Adrien Brody!) Anyway, expect the title to be something a little more lame, along the lines of Batman Meets Joker or Batman Episode II: Attack of the Joker.

Batman Begins 2? The sequel-madness knows no limits.

I hope they'll come up with a new story, it is simply impossible to come up with the performance of the Joker from the original Batman movie anyway.

That was announced pretty much as Batman Begins became such a huge hit. Only bad box-offices are the limit.

Well.. Batman Episode II: Attack of the Joker sounds bad, but generally I do not really care what the movie will be called. Although you can't make it Batman Begins 2. Maybe; Batman Begins - Again. (As in, the 'Again' being part of the title)

I do have to agree that Nicholson did an excellent job as the joker, but I wonder if they will make him darker in this film. I look forward to it as long as they try to follow the new standards. This whole series seems to be written like there never was an original film made. Good for us, bad for Micheal Keaton.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0468569/ So far untitled, but it is the Joker

IMDB.COMBatman, Lt.Jim Gordon and D.A. Harvey Dent team up in an effort to stop the villainous Joker, a theatrical serial killer who lives for the sole purpose of causing harm to the citizens of Gotham, as well as The Dark knight. At the same time, Batman begins to uncover more of the corruption that is plaguing Gotham City, with the arrival of crime boss Salvatore Maroni.

Wouldn't the sequel to Batman Begins with the Joker in it be the same as the first Batman (which had the Joker as the main villian). I guess they want to repeat the Batman movie series over. It's fine by me as long as it's good (not saying that the original wasn't good).

This could be awkward in normal conversation.

"Where you going tonight?" "To see The Joker." "I thought you had a wife...?"

:lookaround:

I just saw it as the origin of the Joker and a connection to the first movie and not a sequel teaser.

If they want to go on with the Batman series, start from where they left off with Batman Returns.
