What TV shows or films are you most excited about?

Apart from Endgame, there's a dramatization called Chernobyl I'd quite like to see. And Season 3 of The Crown is out too, I think?

The new season of The Grand Tour starts later this month and I'm looking forward to that.

Beyond that though, I don't have a TV service so in terms of traditional TV shows, I honestly couldn't even tell you what new ones are coming out.

As for movies, there are a few I am very exicted for.

  • Captain Marvel
  • Avengers End Game
  • Star Wars Episode IX
  • Spider-man Far From Home
  • Toy Story 4
  • How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World
  • John Wick 3

Stranger Things season 3 is probably the only thing I really look forward to on TV. for 2019.

As for movies, really curious about Midway, a movie about the iconic WW2 battle. The material is good for an amazing movie, as the battle was an epic clash with huge historical implications and lots of smaller incredible stories of luck, bravey and tragedy built into it. Some of the historical facts may even seem over the top. There was a movie about Midway in the 1970s, which set the bar pretty high with its very accurate description of the battle but which probably would not hold up for today's short attention-span crowd.

I'd like toosee Alita battle angel movie. In the trailer Alita looks so pretty and unusual. But it seems that the brutal original story from manga will be remade into something softer. Hope that it only seems.

With everything having to satisfy a meaningless action quota, celebrity cameo quota, reference quota and lack-of-depth quota, I have lost interest in new films. I'll watch the latest Asterix cartoon (because I'm a superfan of the comic and the last cartoon wasn't bad) and the next Star Wars whenever it comes out. That's pretty much it.

I don't care for new series either, I couldn't even bother watching Star Trek Discovery after the pilot part 2.
