Part 1 of 4 straight-to-DVD's and later, the 5th season of Futurama, Bender's Big Score is the newest addition to the awesome show that is the successor to Matt Groening's Simpsons...and I've just watched all 1hr and 30 minutes of its hilarity. I honestly can't say how good it is to see something new of it again, but I wasn't let down either, apart from the fact that people who have seen the last episode (of season 4) you'll seemingly be needing to disregard it. For some reason, they felt the need to have us completely ignore the contents of that episode...but hey, I can live with that.
Views, thoughts, a discussion of the mental plot? Can there be too many Bender's, ever?
I was worried the plot would be too Bender sentric (see title for reason) but it all balanced nicely. The show is definitely season 4 quality, a good mix of actual story and hilarity, with some jokes being among the best ever uttered.
All that's left to say is this, "well, I'm gonna make my own film, with blackjack...and hookers!"
I have to agree this film was fantastic and it was much better than the Simpson's movie to bad this film did not go to the cinema.
The ending was, let's say, unexpected. ;)
