Well, I've been doing a lot of scouting around the Internet lately, more so in regards to films that are coming out. These aren't exactly new films either, they're prequels or sequels to already existing genres. The purpose of this thread, is to ascertain which of these films people are most looking forward to seeing. Anyhow, the films in question are as follows: - Resident Evil 4: Afterlife (due fall, 2010). - Pirates of the Caribbean 4: On Stranger Tides (due 2011). - Rambo 5: The Savage Hunt (due 2011). - Underworld 4 (due early 2011). - The Hobbit (LotR Prequel, due 2011). - Mission Impossible 4 (due 2011). - Transformers 3 (due 2010 / 2011) - Bad Boys 3 (due 2010 / 2011) - Terminator 5 (due 2011) - X Men 4 (apparently it is confirmed to be made, but hasn't started production yet). ...and a few other films that we may see, providing various producers and developers get their act together. - Indiana Jones 5. - Jurassic Park 4. - Alien (prequel - it has been mentioned, but nothing solid yet). - Star Trek II (nothing official on this yet, though it has been rumored to have a hopeful release of fall 2011. Either way, a second film is bound to happen).

Alien Prequel has the greenlight, and Ridley Scott is confirmed to be directing (Fox wouldn't give it the go without him).

I've got high hopes, Ridley Scott is the man.

The Alien prequel would be interesting...but they best not "PG" it like the last to movies...the Alien franchise is not intended for squeamish audiences where you bring your 10 year-old. I hate it when studios try and make dark concepts with a Disney spin.

Only Indy 5 and JP4 are if-y. The other two are definitly on the way. Also its not just The Hobbit, its going to be Part 1, Part 2 and Peter Jackson will be taking over for a Part 2 - Fellowship bridging movie. And as far as I know its not X-Men 4 but Origins(Wolverine) 2.

There has been talk of it, I'll give you that, but nothing has been made official as far as I am aware. [QUOTE=086goinfast;5022247]And as far as I know its not X-Men 4 but Origins(Wolverine) 2.

Origins 2 is one that I missed. X Men 4 AND Origins 2 are in the works.

Prince of Persia is missing... Well, of course, it's more of a film that coincidentally shares a name with a very good game since it seems it hasn't got anything to do with the game... beginning with the fact that the "Prince of Persia" starts off as a normal guy or something like that. And he has a name. :Puzzled: Helloey? Princes of Persia are not allowed to have names! :D

They're also remaking the Crow (Not sure about the release date, but it's going to be directed by the director of Blade), and A Nightmare on Elm Street (Early 2010 release), which I know because James Earl Haley (Who played Rorschach in The Watchmen film) will be taking the part of Freddy Krueger.
