Okay heres some classics 300 spartans(the old one not the new)more accurate in the formations and tactics kinda like watching a total war cinematic only with real people Troy-tis obvious Lotr-the two towers the assault on helms deep still outplays the assault on minas tirith Braveheart Arthur

Band of brothers is on HBO, it's not a movie but it's got some pretty intense fight scenes.

I dont know, you might like "Curse of the Golden flower". Its dubbed though, but theres some pretty good not-so-much war seens, well i guess you could call it a war seen cuz there's like 10,000 people fighting.and some pretty good action seens too. i liked it.

By the way, two kick ass battle scene movies: Shaolin Soccer and Kung-fusion. If you haven't seen them, go rent them right now (torrent is free, though).

Good Battle scenes. All quiet on the western front (original, looks like it was made by people who where actually there so very authentic) RAN - Akira Kurosawa BROTHERHOOD -[taegukgi] - absolutely mental korean war movie. Koreans filmakers like their extreme violence. HAMBURGER HILL

I've seen, and loved, all of those movies except King Arthur. Other good movies with battle could include the Kill Bill movies, among others.
