Hmmm just a thought. On Horcruxes. Dumbledore mentions that the most a wizard has managed to tear his soul into is 2 [before Voldermort of course], but the Wizard in question isn't mentioned. Perhaps it is Dumbledore himself?
Im not sure he will will come back o Hogwarts at all. The memories might be to painful for him. I think he will go out on his adventure with Ron and Hermiony to kill voldemort, and probably on his way he will find snape and chat with him the kill him. lol. then he will find Malfoy and turn him into a small tiny insegnificant mouse. Jk, i think probably, harry will turn malfoy in to Azkaban, and Snape will try to talk his way out of being killed by Harry, beacause near the end when Harry faces of with Snape, but Snape cant kill him beacause Lord Voldemort told him not too, one, Harry couldnt defeat Snape becuz, obviously he used his own curses, and two, Snape knew Harry was not good at mentaly casting a spell, so Snape didnt need to worry, becuz before harry could totally say the spell Snape could counter it. Yes, i am Mr. Obvious. lol, jk, im just shareing the thoughts going through my head. Yes i was sad to see Dumbly go, but then after Harrys seventh year, what would he do? Yea he could go on to defeat Vold, but then that would mean an 8th book. And i belive that in the end of the seventh, Harry will visit Hogwarts one last time to go and talk to Dumbly in his portrait, and Harry will say goodbye to his old teachers and friends, then go down to Dumblys grave and say his respects, and after that i guess he will just go off and live out the rst of his years with the weaslys or just roaming around.

This is a very interesting point, but i dont think he will come back beacause the actor in the movie playing Dumbly had died, this is probably just a way they can cover their....butts....lol But who knows? Maby he will come back but in different form so they dont have to worry about the other Dumbly actor dieing. I dont know why i cant remeber his name right now....oh well

I would hope JK Rowling would be above writting her books to suit the needs of the movie makers.
That's a good point, Grim, but I doubt it was really Dumbledore. Creating a Horcrux is such an evil thing to do... =/.
Dumbledore wasn't certain about Horocruces (Probably the plural, like 'index' becomes 'indeces'. I'm smart *nods*) himself. He needed Harry to get the memory so he could A) confirm what they were and B) look for clues that he made more than one. That's why I doubt he'll come back. Plus, books are made better with deaths of main characters. Think about Book 5 and Sirus, everyone loves it, [spoilers for the criminals not to have read HDM] Roger in Northern Lights, etc.

Well I think Dumbledore has killed a few Death Eaters in his time, and we don't no what Dumbledore dabbled in, in the past. Anyway, just trying to think of ways he could come back :D.

i don't think so. when he's fighting voldemort in the ministry, the dialogue clearly indicates that dumbledore doesn't believe in killing people.
haha time to tell you guys who died dumbledore died becuz of snape and snape is the half-blood prince AHAHAHAH
no shit sherlock? we found that out back at page 5 of this thread...
by the way, are you really 12 years old?
You're surprised dreadnought? Anyways... I don't recall anyone ever saying that only one other wizard had made horcruces(as said by the cunning linguist, Reven :D), only that very few had tried making more than two(one being themself and the other being the actual horcrux)... but if someone can point out what page they read that on, I'd gladly accept the fact...
