Okay, I was talking to a friend of mine and she gave me the best theory behind book six, which would xplain a good chunk of 7. Contains spoilers from book 6... so be warned .... ...... ........ ........... ............. ............... ................. ...................... .......................... You know how Voldermort had those Hor....(things that hold part of his soul) well anyway, my friend thought that the golden locket which Harry and Dumbledore uncovered was actually Dumbledore's Horcraux (sp? my books upstairs and im too lazy to get it) Which means that Voldermort would think that Snape really is on his side AND that Dumbledore is in fact gone.... but if this is true, then Dumbledore will return in secret. I think that Harry will return to Hogwarts in bookx 7 (assuming it re-opens) because he needs to learn more in order to become powerful enough to defeat Voldermort. I think that during the summer before Hogwarts, Harry will do a good chunk or research/exploring (such as marlvoro's cottage) and then will go back to school in the fall. And for the love of God Sirius has to come back. I think that he will be able to though, because Malfoy (in book 6) was transporting death eaters through one of those vanishing things (which is initially what sirius fell through I believe) and thus if they can find the other vanishing thing (considering they need 2) then he can return. I'll edit with more if I can think of anything.

Okay, his name's Voldemort, there's no other "r"! Also, what Sirius fell through in book 5 was not a Vanishing Cabinet. Besides, he was killed by Bellatrix Lestrange's curse before falling through. The possibility that that locket thing is Dumbledore's Horcrux is also slim to none. Harry and Dumbledore went in search of it thinking it was actually Voldemort's. It is most likely a decoy used by Voldemort to convince a would-be thief that it's his, when his real one is hidden elsewhere. Oh, and "Marlvoro"? That's almost a cigarette brand...try "Marvolo". That's all from me. Try to think more realistically is all I can say...

Dumbledore would never make a Horcrux. Dumbledore is gone. Snape is a good guy, and he will play a role. Probably get killed by Voldemort.

The whole point of Harry Potter is fantasy. You can't be realistic.... is it realistic to kill someone with a stick? Or to fly on broomsticks? No... and okay so I spelt the names wrong, so sue me.. I don't memorize the book. But aside from bashing my ideas and grammar you didn't share your own ideas for book 7 so was that really necessary? And 'Marlboro' is the cigarette brand sweety Though if anyone has read any good fan fic. for book 7 I would love to hear it or get the source.

I think what you said would be the perfect story for Harry. Unfortunately I doubt it, I think you could be on to something with the Sirius thing, as for the Dumbledore thing, I believe he could have a Horcrux [he mentions one other wizard who has spilt his soul], however maybe it isn't a Horcrux he is using, who knows. I agree that Snape is still on the right side, note how when the staff learnt that Snape had killed Dumbledore, there was no mention of "Why that betrayer!", and Dumbledore trusted Snape for some as yet unknown reason [well the reason given dosen't seem solid enough to me].
