Dude.. f*ckin' old news. That 'rumour' has been around since... ever. That, and it's not even Vin Diesel that's being rumoured as Agent 47, it was already pretty clear he wouldn't do it. This guy however, is rumoured to be the Hitman.
Feel my heat, Heavens on fire.

This is kinda old news. Many Hitman fans feel Jason Statham from the Transporter movies would be a better fit for the role, but, meh...either way the movie will probably suck. Most games to movies do.
i reckon jason statham would do good as agent-47 but he needs to loose some weight!

Everyone only thinks that because of his obvious likeness to being bald, who cares if he looks like agent 47, we need someone that actually captures the role, look at Daniel Craig, he certainly didn't look like bond but he own all previous actors.
jason statham would play agent-47 perfectly, watch revolver and you'll see him look paranoid the way a hitman would, he would be perfect for the role and he looks the part so thats a bonus!

I don't know how good the movie will be, I cant see Sheriff Bullock from Deadwood playing Agent 47.

Greeeaaat, another crappy game-to-movie port. Just what we needed!
I'm Bill Pardy...

Hm well I've never heard this rumor before but oh well...cant say Im surprised though...
Vin Deisel would be horrible to play 47 - yet that would be a move Hollywood would make...you need someone who's not that buff, is sophisticated, and has an overall calming tone in their voice and their movements.
Jason would be better than Vin but I dont think that would work either. Jason has a more non-stop action movie-ness to him than anything else even though I love him as an actor and the characters he's protrayed...Jason just doesnt have that eerie calm stone cold killer persona...
Yet - I cant think of anyone off the top of my head that would be good for 47...they should bring in an unknown.
A psychedelic experience.

Like someone said, it doesn't matter what they look like I'd prefer they got an actor who can... well you know... act. Someone who can portray the Hitman we all know and love properly. I think it has the potential to make a great movie, the storyline is definately good, but knowing Hollywood it will be riddled with "stars" and end up being commercialised crap.
