What are your favorite horror movies?

I'd deffinatly have to say The Howling. It is an excellent werewolf movie.

Event Horizon is an awesome movie too. Its very freaky.

Signs is good too. I love alien movies.

Blade is a kick ass movie too. But you could also so it's more of an action movie though. But it has vampires so im saying its horror.

Some other good ones are: The Thing Dog Soldiers John Carpenter's Vampires

So basically talk about your fav. horror movies and other ones that people like and that. :)

The Shining. Because Kubrick simply kicks butt. Another very good horror-movie was "The Ring". Very scary, although I keep hearing that the Japanese original (Ringu) is even better.

As for your movies, I don't know if Blade is really a horror-movie. Isn't it more of an action movie? I also watched Event Horizon but didn't like it that much. Mostly because I found it funny that they carried a singluarity around in a spaceship.

A few weeks ago I watched "The Cube". Not a good movie because of bad acting and dislogues, but the idea is quite good.

Yeah. Blade is more actiony than scary. But like I said, if you want an excellent movie you should check out The Howling. It's the best werewolf movie ever I think. Basically these people go to a summer cabin and they find out the woods are home to a colony of werewolfs.

I really dont get to scared watching any type of horror movies, the only movie where I have been the slightest bit creeped out and scared is final destination. The whole thing that death is out to get you freaks me out. Its on now, WB. :(

My favorites are Dario Argento's Suspiria, Romero's Dawn of the Dead, Neil Marshall's The Descent, John Carpenter's The Thing among many many others that I can't seem to think of right now. The horror genre is probably my favorite.
