has anyone seen Hostel? im just really interested in what people thought of the movie.. i have to say, along the way, my throat did feel tight as i watched eyeballs getting cut off, heads smashed in etc. i think it was the bloodiest, sickest movie i've ever seen. i was truely shocked by it.. i was speechless when i finished seeing that..
it sounds like some doumbass teen slasher movie but thats just what i heard. But im not exactly a "horror movie lover" i think there retarded most of the time
I saw it. I couldn't finish my popcorn. I was sick to my stomach when I walked out. I keeled over in the car. It's literally squimish. You can't believe what you're seeing but you can't stop watching as its so utterly twisted its...good.
There were some really gross parts though. Man oh man, that eyeball really got me, with the yellow puss? that was gross. Although I thought they killed off the european guy WAY to early. "of coarse my horse!"
i reckon they did the puss, or whatever that yellow substance was, really well.. everything was just so... real.. but a part i wouldnt mind watching again is when the bubblegum kids (i think that was their gang name) smashed that guy's skull in with a sledgehammer.. amazing effects..
so this is alot differant from ur cut of the mill horror movie?
very, very, VERY different. i didnt really see it as a horry actually. mainly just a movie showing off its gore effects. :D
im going to watch the movie but some guys were saying that it was 10 if not more scary and disgusting then saw 2!
I've heard that people actually vomitted in the cinema.
But that's probably just what Eli Roth (writer/director) wanted.
I think i'll (have to) see this with some friends. We saw Saw (1), and it's fun to watch such an evil/sadistic movie with some friends, and as this one promises to be even worse (or, better, just in what way you see it). I want to see it.
yeah im gonna see it too, probably with my friends(sov002,..) but that vomiting is true but that means its really disgusting!
Hostel was very good. It was an absolute romp. I like horror movies more than most people do, I guess. It certainly wasn't your "run of the mill" slasher either. I don't know where people get that idea after watching it.
