Well, I've recently (over the past two or three days) watched the two films. The first one was shown on Saturday night, the other on Sunday night. Anyway, I was thinking about both of the films earlier (and on Sunday night) and thought I'd share my thoughts with the community. Firstly, to look at the differences between the two films. Jeepers Creepers 1:

  • The "creature" drove a Van. Some how, managed to get hold of a driving licence. It even knows which side of the road to drive on and obviously how to fill up on fuel.
  • Goes to all the trouble to kill and eat people (or at least parts of them), only to stitch them back up afterwards. That part just doesn't make sense to me. He then stores them in an abandoned church.
  • He has white eyes (where, apposed to the second film, his eyes are more "human").
  • He gets run over, on several occasions by that girl, thus he obviously can't walk or fly. Yet, he manages somehow to get to his treasured Van, and then drives to the police station. I can't imagine his van being close, thus he "could" have flew, yet if he did that, he might as well have flown to the Police Station.
  • He follows a Song. This I just can't get my head around. That song wouldn't have been about in the time he was "born", yet that is "its" song. Any ideas as to how that works?

Jeepers Creepers 2:

  • As mentioned above, his eyes are now more "human".
  • He got rid of his Van. Now the thing flys everywhere (or runs) unless he managed to get himself a motorcycle which we didn't see.
  • He first got rid of a chunk of his head, and then eventually ripped off his head and replaced it with a new one (and that one being of that guy). Wouldn't that therefore give him a new brain, along with new thoughts and feelings etc

Now, I know these are just films, but there are a lot of things within the films that just don't go together. And as for it not being able to die, I'm sure if someone dropped the thing in some molten lava it would soon be dead. They were a resonable set of films though, there were just a fair few flaws with them.

I think it could've just been the creature evolving? But yes, theres always a couple of screwups when you make a sequel.

And remember, the creature has been alive for thousands of years, coming every, say 21 years( I think thats it), he would've known the song, and I guess he's capable of "liking" the song.

Well, like stated, there's always continuity errors between sequels. And of course, there's always IMDB there for us to point out the ones we missed! :D http://imdb.com/title/tt0263488/goofs

IMDB has forums filled with people that look deep into the movie and understand/work out the story but it also has its share of stupidity.. its a good place to get help on movies. i myself dont analyze movies well. i rented jeepers creepers 1 but was disappointed from the lack of 'scariness' :(

Quote:He has white eyes (where, apposed to the second film, his eyes are more "human"). Thats because at the end of the first one he rips out the guys eyes, and then replaces them with his current ones

I was actually talking to deaf-man as he was the one who brought up the eye problem. :)
