What's the last film you watched?

Randomly, the last one I watched was on Netflix called "Behind The Curve" - it's an insight into the insane world of people who inexplicably believe the world is flat.

It's pretty fascinating how barmy some people are.

Great minds! This is the last film I've watched as well...it was absolutely infuriating...but good!

Into The White

It is based on a real event. A German bomber and a British fighter shot each other out of the sky. Seeking shelter, both crews found the same cabin. In spite of their nationalities, survival means they need each other to help.

It really puts war into perspective. Your government is telling you to fight someone, but that someone is just as human as you are. In different circumstances, you might be good friends.

So I recently watched Muppet Treasure Island.

Why? Dunno. Felt nostalgic. Still a ballin' movie don't care what people say.

Recently watched 1917, as it was on sale.

I liked it, although it is not so much a movie about WW1 as an action movie set in WW1. The use of seemingly unending shots, unusual camera lenses and playing with lighting effects gives the movie an interesting feel of suspense in the early part. Towards the end it feels more trippy, like Apocalypse Now.

I need to see 1917 as I want to see how they did the one shot effect.

I haven't been watching a lot of movies recently. Honestly, I can't even really remember the last one I watched.
