I liked the battle at the black gate also. I hated the first movie. I thought it was just plain bad.
You have to start somewhere. They had to do a lot of explaining, that's why it was somewhat boring; but I liked it.
I didn't like how they changed a lot of stuff that was in the book. I liked the 2 and 3 movies the best.
oh, i liked them all, although i think the 2nd one was the worst... many people will probably disagree with me though lol. Why doesnt anyone like the 2nd one exactly?
Most people liked the second one, like me. 2 and 3 were the best.

i liked teh first one a lot as well..even tho 2nd and 3rd were obviously much better
Helms Deep, Minis Tirith and Pelanor Fields, although almost all parts where cool. But nothing can beat the book...
thats totally true...its much more fun reading the book than watching the movie.
my favorite part was helms deep but it sounded better in the book
