I love this show. I can't wait for the new season to start.

As for info on next season, this was posted a few weeks back in another LOST thread:

Striped_White_Tiger "Lost" Gets Fresh Blood" Jun 06,12:29 PM ET Looks like Jack, Sayid, Kate, et al. are getting some more company on mystery island. ABC confirmed Monday that Michelle Rodriguez will join Lost's cast of castaways full-time next season. The news was first reported by E! Online TV columnist Krisitin Veitch. (This story contains possible spoilers, so consider yourself alerted.) In part one of last season's finale, Rodriguez's character, Ana-Lucia Cortez, was briefly shown in a flashback scene flirting with Matthew Fox's Jack in a Sydney airport bar before the ill-fated Oceanic flight 815 boarded. She and Jack compared seat assignments (Jack was in the middle of the plane, she was in the tail section) before she got a cellphone call and left him hanging. Although ABC and Lost masterminds J.J. Abrams and Damon Lindelof won't say exactly in what capacity Rodriguez will be appearing, speculation is already rampant that she will not be relegated merely to flashbacks. Lost message boards are filling up with possible scenarios to explain her character's addition to the cast, with the leading theory being that, as some of the plane-crash survivors surmised during the first season, passengers in the tail section of the airliner landed on an as-yet unexplored nook of the island and will be reunited with the main ensemble in season two. When last we left the show, which was one of the season's biggest rookie hits, averaging nearly 16 million viewers, Jack, Locke, Kate and Hurley had blasted opened the mysterious hatch and found...a long, dark passageway. Meanwhile, Michael, Walt, Jin and Sawyer's boat ride was interrupted by the less than neighborly "Others," a group of men who intercepted the raft, kidnapped the seemingly clairvoyant Walt, shot Sawyer and blew up the vessel. Michael was left treading water among the wreckage as Jin dove in to try to save Sawyer. In an interview on Los Angeles' KROQ radio last week, Abrams said the raft crew will eventually make it back to the island, but come ashore away from the rest of their pals, possibly setting up the discovery of Rodriguez's character and perhaps other survivors. Abrams also suggested that one of the stars is unhappy with his current contract and will likely be killed off at the beginning of the second season and won't be featured in any further episodes, even in flashbacks. The producer didn't drop any hints, but, per message board speculation, the leading candidate appears to be Naveen Andrews, who plays Sayid. b?P=4DhwUthtfk5wJNX1Qa1sYAQHRZ4xlEKkg_gADIl_&T=142moe55o%2fX%3d1118077944%2fE%3d87652897%2fR%3dent%2fK%3d5%2fV%3d2.1%2fW%3ddefault%2fY%3dYAHOO%2fF%3d571026742%2fQ%3d-1%2fS%3d1%2fJ%3d507E6DD8&U=139drpanp%2fN%3dPmy2GNhtfFw-%2fC%3d343047.6475068.7446054.1444484%2fD%3dLREC%2fB%3d2738840 Aside from the Rodriguez casting tidbit, the show's brain trust is throwing another bone to loyal fans to keep them occupied over the summer. A new Website has been launched for Lost's fictional Oceanic Airlines at Oceanic-Air.com, containing secret messages, behind-the-scenes info on the show and a trailer for season two. (Hint: Use Hurley's cursed numbers, if you dare.) Rodriguez, 26, hit Hollywood's radar after her breakout performance in the Sundance hit Girlfight. She has also appeared in The Fast and the Furious, Blue Crush, Resident Evil and S.W.A.T. She recently wrapped the Wes Craven-produced horror flick Breed and a voice role in the Latin-themed animated film Sian Ka'an with Salma Hayek and Alfred Molina. The first season of Lost will be available on DVD on Sept. 6, ahead of the debut of the second season, which will now air in the 9 p.m. slot on Wednesday. link to where I found it on yahoo entertainment

Make sure you click on the link to Oceanic-Air.com and use Hurley's cursed numbers. ;)

Someone posted that website awhile ago. There's a bunch of hidden stuff on it. If you use the numbers it leads to this website: http://forums.go.com/abc/oceanic/index. The show is ok, I watch it if it's on.

How can you watch it every now and then? You have to see every episode to understand it. It is one of my favorite shows of all time. I love it. I hope they don't kill off Sayid, he is one of my favorites.

LOST SUX!!!!!!!!!!

I MEAN!!! WTH!?!!?!?!?!?1111one Honestly...the first, maybe, 3 epsidoes were good enough, and then they just made it into a big piece of soap...they should have stopped it after MAX 10 episodes (and NOT make a 2nd season!). Okey...Jack is acting to much like a hero. And...I mean...that little 10 year old kid should have been sent east of the Ural mountains, in a dark cellar, and been shot. He is ssoooooooooooo anoying! As is Sawyer! Sure, he is a hunk, but in a real life situation I will bet my ass that the 40 other survivors would have whopped his ass for all that stealing and all that. And as that school teacher said in one of the last episodes: "Its all about your party of merry adventures". I mean, there were like 40+/- survivors, and the series only portrate like 15. Silly. And the tention between each episode is the same as you get from watching "Home and Away"...

It would take a lot more money to pay 40 actors than the main group that's portrayed. It would also be difficult to keep 40+ actors throughout the entire filming, having the majority as out of focus extras allows them to be replaced whenever they need to. Plus it would be difficult to develop them all in an hour each week. Also, not introducing all the survivors allows them to make up characters in any given episode they need (Arzt for example).

I agree that sometimes it feels like it moves too slowly and nothing happens. Maybe something doesn't seem important at the moment but it's related to something that happens in a later episode. Of course if they were just stretching things out to fill time it wouldn't surprise me, it is just a tv show after all.
