I'm incredibly excited for Black Panther. He's like the Batman of Marvel. =p

Not crazy about the Thor movie though, the last two were pretty bad.

I'm really not big on superhero movies, I've only liked a handful, but I do feel optimistic about a few of these.

Same, when it comes to Black Panther. I'm a big fan, though I've only seen him in cartoons and the movie. He's a great character, and one of the reasons why I wished my country isn't a neanderthal when it comes to American Comics.

Hearing that Black Panther is going to take over the role spiderman filled during the Civil War arc. Would be a nice segue into the continuity, but I wonder how much crying is going to be done by purists over this.

A nice lineup to look forward too, though I really am curious as to just how successful (or not) Ant Man is going to be. Of all the heroes (and villains) already in the MCU, Ant Man is the one superhero that I just can't credibly take seriously.

A guy that can shrink and communicate with Ants? I mean...

Civil War will sure be interesting, as that's rumored to be the death of Rogers. I wouldn't be half surprised though if by some force of magic he's brought back to life ready for Avengers 3, especially with them Infinity stones; what's the bet one of them can resurrect the dead or something?

That's all assuming that they'll resurrect Rogers, they might just leave him be and pass the Captain America title to Bucky (as in the comics).

Ragnarok is suppose to spell the fall of Asgard, so the third Thor film should conclude with a big upset (or not) for the rest of the Universe.

I am still of the belief that Spiderman will appear. I've read rumours (take that as you will) of his mention, maybe even an (unlikely) cameo during the Ant Man film. All they need to do is to have someone say the line of you're not the only person to have an insect-inspired name and you set speculation in motion.

I was hoping for them to have a Howard the Duck reboot in the works given the cameo in Guardians.

I've read all the comics related to above films (minus guardians of the galaxy) and I am looking forward most to Civil War however there is an issue.

Civil War had a wide range of characters from the marvel universe including top tier heroes such as spiderman and Reed Richards. Why is this a problem? Well Spiderman is still owned by Sony and we haven't had the new FF movie yet. Alongside this anti-hero favourite The Punisher plays a fairly pivotal role in the Civil War and with notuing but a DAMN FUCKING GOOD AWESOME trailer/clip we have next to nothing about him so far except perhaps the first film (we do not speak of the 2nd film).

Infinite Wars seems to be the big sub-plot they have been building to for some time now; it doesn't help that they mention or reference the actions of Thanos in every other fucking scene. Should be a good film. I prefer the story-arc to that of Ultrons.

I'm not going to talk about Ragnarok as it is only speculation at this point.

The Inhumans could be BLOODY good what with black bolt reking everyone and everything however I don't feel they qualify for their own film series. yes they are good and quite interesting but whenever they are included in readings I find it is usually just 'Black Bolt' doing his own thing, or being referenced because of the moon (similar to how they incorporate Namor these days....infact he needs to be in civil war too *sigh*).

A guy that can shrink and communicate with Ants? I mean...

Ant man is one of my favourite heroes hands down. Why? Because his character is told as if he is a real person. You can relate to the guy, he constantly suffers from guilt and depression over his work and actions along with a tricky relationship with his misses-then-not-his-misses the wasp. Also the whole Yellowjacket story was fantastic and scoped over a number of marvel comics, such as Avangeners forever, rather than doing one series on his escapades. Also his powers isn't just shrinking....He can turn fucking huge and reks quite a few nasty villains in the past (holds of Hulk at one point) and he is a super genius with Tony Stark saying that he is smarter tha himself but less ambitious.

In reference to the CA comment he doesn't die in Civil War; he dies just after it (typically called ;the Death of Captain America). Where he is going to court to answer for his crimes and Red Skull gets the last laugh although they may include it at the end of the Civil War film; would make a nice cliffhanger. Also he does come back to life because SPOILERS: It wasn't film him who got shot. I know right, what a fucking load of horseshit haha.

People said the same thing about "Guardians Of The Galaxy", and look how well that turned out. ;)

Which Ant Man are we speaking about though, cause aren't there three - and isn't the feature film focusing on the second one? Is he the genius, or is it the first one, the one that creates the suit?

And if he can grow real large, wouldn't the label of Ant Man be kind of, incorrect?

What do you mean it wasn't film him that got shot? :lookaround: Does Rogers get assassinated or no?

I never said the same thing about Guardians. =p

The thing with Guardians, it (currently) has nothing to do with Earth and the Avengers, I went into the film not to watch it as a comic book film, but to watch it as a fun, science fiction adventure film. Ant Man is going to be different (at least for me) cause I know he's eventually a member of the Avengers and he's a hero of Earth.
