Killer Kyle;4931143 I hate to say this, but if Obama was assassinated right now, would they still be covering Jackson's death over that?

Fox News would be.

Their line would be "Micheal Jackson dead at the age of 50, we'll be covering this until the end of the month. On a lighter note, President Obama was assassinated by a heroic person we'll be interviewing in our breaks of Michel Jackson's coverage.

Anlushac11;4930950Say what you want but I still feel he was a excellent performer.
I'd have to agree with you here.
Warborg;4930997I won't agrue this... just what he did with the kids
There isn't any 'proof' of that. I don't question whether it happened or not, but that whole issue is pretty much down to speculation and personal belief.
Killer Kyle;4931143I think the media is giving this way too much attention. You had Farah Fawcett and Ed McMahon die today as well, but they aren't getting extended coverage.
I don't even know who these other two people are...
We heard this "news" at work and the second they announced it I heard 3-4 people (including myself) start laughing and then the slew of Jacko jokes started, good stuff.
Seriously? You laughed because he had died? Or you laughed at the jokes? If you laughed at the jokes, ok, I can understand that. I've done it myself today, but if you laughed at the fact he was dead, thats actually quite low of you and your collegues. Sorry, but you just don't.
The only reason I was so interested in his death for a few seconds was because of how sudden it was. As far as I know he wasnt sick or anything at all.

I believe he has skin cancer or something didn't he?

For me I don't laugh at any death, I just feel relieved he didn't have a chance to screw more little kids lives up
