After 30 years, the studio that released movies like Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, Kill Bill, Clerks, No Country for Old Men, and a bunch of other movies, is shutting it's doors.
Story here: TechEBlog Miramax Studios Closes Doors
Never seen any of those, people tell me that some of the the ones listed are the worst movies ever made.
haKZ;5225447Never seen any of those, people tell me that some of the the ones listed are the worst movies ever made.
Those people are average movie goers that enjoy shit movies like Twilight, Crank, and the X-men trilogy.
Weinstein Company is around now, making the same movies Miramax would have made.
Damn this sucks. :/
Crumbs;5226155Those people are average movie goers that enjoy shit movies like Twilight, Crank, and the X-men trilogy.
Acually they hate those more, and most of them are on the older side, like 30's:lulz:
Are you kidding? Clerks and Clerks II are classics. Go to Youtube and type in Pillowpants, Porch Monkey clerks 2, and Clerks 2 Lord Of The Rings.
Pulp Fiction is a classic. "Oh Im sorry did I break your concentration". "Say What Again M%^^&*(#$%r."
And The Kill Bill movies werent bad. Not great either but they were entertaining.
Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, and Kill Bill are all Tarentino movies which instantly makes them awesome. Go see them. Clerks is a classic comedy. Raunchy as hell but still funny. No Country is an awesome book adaptation written and directed by the Coen brothers. They also wrote and directed O Brother, Where Art Thou? and The Big Lebowski.
Junk angel;5226225I'm curious about those six movies they mentioned though. Considering most of what I've seen from miramax has been on the awesome side.
No studio has a 100% success rate with films, but I would say that Miramax has been one of the stronger studios over the last 20 or so years. I wouldn't consider all their movies exceptionally awesome, but many were very successful.
The few that I listed in my original post are ones that stuck out at me, especially Pulp Fiction and the Clerks films. Maybe not the best ever but certainly memorable
