I saw it on Friday and fortunately it lives up to expectations and reputations. I was never a fan of Tom Cruise until I saw Minority Report and War of Worlds and a became, not a fan but a audience with respect for him. Anyway back to the film, thankfully it still the uses the sometimes funny disguise masks, the "you're mission if you choose to accept it" gadgets, the crazy aerobatic entrances to secure buildings, the unique, interesting team that aids in Ethan Hunt's mission in saving the world and a menacing, savage villain which is played very well by Phillip Seymour Hoffman. But adds an new aspect and of Ethan in love and having to hide his spy life and friends from his other half. And then she gets captured bla bla bla with all the normal "lone wolf" stuff to get her back. Unfortunately, it's all too unreal just like Mi:2 and some aspects of the first movie. Like, bombs injected into people's heads, Ethan getting married between nearly being blown on a bridge and covertly infiltrating his own agency. Ending with a scene that should of really of been in "How to Loose a Guy in 10 Days" not, "How to Save the World in 10 Days." Well Tom said he "wanted it to kick start everyone's Summer." I suppose it may of aided in that for me but not for many other people, especially in the Southern hemisphere.

C'mon. It's Mission Impossible. It's not meant to be real.

I thought it was a great movie. Tom Cruise once again did some brilliant acting, and Hoffman as well as Fishbourne took on the types of character that they do best.

Cant complain. Compared to other movies that are currently showing, it kicks all competition in the ass. Until Da Vinci of course.

Sure I liked it, but you just can't beat Mission Impossible 1.

That was an awesome film.

If you want to see some really good Tom Cruise films watch "Born on the 4th of July" and "The Firm". Both are great movies.

Tom Cruise is a great actor, he's just an idiot in real life. :p

I can't wait to see MI:3, I haven't seen it, but i'm sure it will be very good, and one of the better movies this summer.

I've see it at least 3 more times.

That was explosive all the way...

I don't like disecting movies in quite the same way DNC does...reminds me of those idots Siskel and Ebert & Ropper

Saying that the gadgets aren't realistic is like saying Superman should work in shadows cause he's powered by the sun...

WHO CARES...

Unless the writters do something to royal screw up I won't envoke "suspension of belief"

Mission Impossilbe certainly lived up to it's title. There were great moments of nostalgia to from the first film. They're all getting old and this might be the last mission Impossible.

Wayta go Cruise...I like your work ethic and your dedication to your faith...At least it makes sense to you...
