Does anyone else here use Netflix? (I did a search and found no topics since a year ago)
I've been using it for about the past year, and I think it's great. I wasn't sure about it when I first heard of it, but now I don't know what I'd do for entertainment without it! Especially considering I live on an island with just a mom & pop video store.
The coolest thing about it is they have absolutely everything, most of which you could never rent from your local mega chain rental store. From tv series DVD sets to old obscure movies, there's yet to be a movie I wanted that they didn't have. Plus, all the new releases.
The price is great too, I have the 3 movie plan for $20/month, and if I watch & return them in a timely manner, I usually end up seeing 15-20 movies per month with it.
My Netflix queue currently has 375 movies. Lately, I've been watching a bunch of Bond movies, old classics, and the occasional kiddie movie for the little ones.
Right now it looks like this:
If you like movies, and aren't using it, give it a try. I think most people will find it's pretty cool. It's also nice that you can be lazy. All you have to do is go out to your mailbox. :p
So what's in your Netflix queue?
On demand and Indemand FTW for me. Either that or I buy it.
Mine, well actually my dad's. There's like.... one movie shown here that's actually mine. We've had it for god knows how long, and as you can see, we're (well, my dad) is very slow with watching movies.

all his movies  He rents a lot of foreign and old movies. And old foreign movies.
I use it to watch all the cool Anime shows like Gundam and Robotech.
Sweet, i think I will start using it, I always thought it sounded shaky but from the look of it, you both are liking it!
Also Beef, on demand sucks, all old shitty movies that you can watch on HBO any time you want.

Indeed. But along with the good titles, there is also a huge selection of shitty movies on Netflix. Like I said, they have everything.
But Beef's way allows one to be even more lazy. :p
And from the looks of the dates in the "At Home" queue, Homer's dad is much like my mother. They are Netflix's dream customers. I think she still has movies she recieved last year. $20/month is only a bargain if you acually watch & return the movies, something I've tried to convey to my mother.
