Anyway, Netflix has landed a deal with CBS, allowing them to broadcast the new Star Trek: Discovery series in 188 countries. The episodes will go online, starting in January 2017, up to 24 hours after their American counterpart.
Additionally, Netflix has secured the rights, in the same deal, to publish all previous Star Trek series; that's the Original Series, Enterprise, Next Generation, Voyager and Deep Space Nine. They've stated that they'll work on making those available before the end of 2016.
Note that this doesn't include the movies, as those are owned by Paramount.
