The now famous Red vs Blue Machinima series is returning for a new season.

Actually, it might be better to refer to it as a new spin-off series, as it is now called Red vs Blue: Reconstruction.

Has anybody else continued to follow the series?

I haven't been watching, I didn't know what was going on! I used to be a big fan. Sadly, my hard drive just died and I lost 2 seasons of episodes... sad really. Oh well. I will check it out!

I can't say I'm surprised, they were probably flooded with hate mail for ending the blood gulch chronicles, but I don't know, I kinda like the whole crew, kinda hard to imagine it without Sarge and Grif...

So I don't understand... is it in the same world that the original Red vs. Blue was set in, or some sort of parallel universe? Well, I just watched part of chapter 2 of the new Red vs. Blue, and that girl in the yellow seemed like that colorblind sister of one of the guys in the original RVB...

*** Warning, Minor spoilers below. ***

It was. That was "Sister", and the other guy was ofcourse, "Sarge".

This series takes place following the events of RvB. Ignoring most of the endings of episode 100. The Red, and Blue teams have left Blood Gulch, aside from Sister, and Sarge, who continue their "epic" struggle,...

Some new threat has been unleased on the galaxy, and seems to have come from the "Spartan" program [my guess]. A "Recovery" organization is spearheading the attempt to identify, and neutralize this new threat. The lead field operative is "Washington", a.k.a "Recovery One".
