ZOMGosh!! I HAVE NOT EVER SEEN A MOVIE THAT IS SO SUSPENSEFULLY ACTIONLY PACKED GOODNESS! Liam Neeson plays a father who has a nack for detail because of his retired job from the government being a "Preventer".
Plot/Intro: Neeson's character, reluctantly allows his 17-year-old daughter, Kimi, travel to what he thought was Paris with her 19-year-old friend Amanda. He agrees, gives her an international phone in which he tells her to call him. When they finally talk, a few hours later after landing and past the time to call, 3 guys burst into their apartment/floor, and they take Amanda first, while Kimi is watching in the bathroom. Neeson tells her to go to the to closest room and hide under the bed and explains that they will take her, but in the "very key" 10-12 seconds, to "call out as many details as she can". Well she does and they take her. Neeson, now enraged and fueled as a father, gets the details of her captors from fellow gov't friends, and he was told that he has roughly 96 hours to find her, or she will never be found. So pressured against the clock, he races, but carefully, tries to find her. The rest is for you to watch.
Review: Yes, the $7 I paid to see it, was worth it. Neeson demonstrates mainly his character's melee skills throughout the movie, while occasionally using his precision skills with a hand gun. It is very 'violent' (for lack of better words) without the grotesque-ness and gore the most movies similar to this would have. In over all rating I would give it a 5/5. Truly a buy for release on DVD & BlueRay. Go see it, NOW!
Sounds good. I was a bit skeptical of the movie at first, but now I'm quite excited to see it.
