War of the Worlds. Great movie, very intense moments. But some parts that just didnt make sense like the ending just didnt make sense. Everyone comes out alive an they all live happily ever after!? What are the odds of them and there whole family surviving!? And in the begginning when the aliens come out of the ground, there some guy sitting there with a video camera when ALL of electronic appliances arent working, inculding cars and watches!
Overall it was good but could have been better. 8/10
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire: 9.2/10, they sort of rushed the beginning which was a downfall of .8 :nodding:
meh. Didn't really like War of the Worlds. Actually, i think the whole movie is dependent on the special effects. The special effects do kick ass though, but it wasnt nearly as good as i thought.
Well.. One of the last i saw was SinCity. Nicely done (black/white with some color aspects), bit cruel at points; "I take his weapons away. Both of them" (and No, the guy didn't have 2 guns.. ouch). But i don't really care about that. I expected something else, but when you like "understand" Sin City, it's one hell of a movie. I really liked it, and would highly recommend it. It's kick ass.
9.5/10
9/10 Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.
For a Harry Potter movie, they did a pretty good. Dramatic and all, and the ending was pretty emotional. I heard they left out like half the book, but what are you going to do? :clueless:

Agreed. And am I the only person who feels that the movie seems a little 'unfinished'? It built up as though something amazing was going to happen, laid out all sorts of mysteries, and then just ended abruptly as though they ran out of time. Erm, anyway. Last movie I saw was the new Batman movie, on DVD. And I have to say 9/10. I don't think anybody could have given better reasons for a man dressing up as a bat. Plus, it was a lot more realistic than the other movies, and yet still retains some degree of fantasy. Which isn't hard to accomplish considering that they had car chases on top of giant statues in the last one, but still.
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.
in the whole: The same as Inyri
I agree with Matt on this one, Batman Begins was very good, at least compared to many others (although I didn't watch them for the realism, I did enjoy the realistic reason he did have to dress up as 'Batman'), and it recieves the same score in my book as in Matt's.
kiss kiss, bang bang. pretty funny 9/10

Same here, saw it last week on DVD, whn I heard "batman" and "movie" in one line I feared the worst, those crappy series and cartoons made be expect it couldn't be any good. I watched it regardless so I could either confirm or change my believes.
It was quite a suprise that it was all much more proffesional and everything make sense. No random guy who has nothing better to do then using super powers 24/7/365.
9/10!
