Ihaterednecks;4555685Yes yes I know the cultural differences. Think I don't know the culture of my roots? My grandfather is from the Guandong province of China.

Your English is very very good. Perhaps you have spent too much time among the western cultures if you cannot tell your people apart from other nationalities, with your eyes alone.

Anybody check it out this weekend? I caught the 2nd part on Sat. night Jamie Chung was looking pretty awesome, and the sword fights were actually pretty impressive.

My English is very very good? Ummm . . thank you?

How am I supposed to tell a Frenchman and an Englishman apart if they are dressed in the same clothes, and don't say anything. I can tell if they have a few indicators of their culture - hairstyles, clothes, anything. But I haven't seen enough Japanese and Chinese to really compare them side by side. How can I hope to tell them apart with nothing like that? As a whole, they look basically the same.

It's not like I have much of a chance to go out and visit other cultures, what with school and the fact that I'm 16 and have other things on my mind.

To the uninitiated, they do. I can't notice the subtle differences. Hence BASICALLY.

So what have we? That man can distinguish between himself?

Asian, Spanish, "Middle Eastern", and other Western/European nationalities?

Each nationality has its own subtle differences. Many are cultural, but after time differences seep into the blood, and bone, changing them further. Admittedly, not always easy to tell, but there are differences.

Ha well- whatever her nationality is, she looks great. I was actually impressed by her acting abilities, I thought she did a great job in the lead role.

I never said there weren't. But apparently, my eyes are worse than I thought, my mom can. She said the Chinese are generally darker and uglier.
