Seinfeld is in my opinion the single greatest (sitcom) ever created. So many phrases that we Americans use came from that show... so many comedians were inspired by that show, and so many hours of my life in the past month have been wasted watching the first 4 seasons on DVD, aswell as the 4 episodes that are on every day of the week except sunday, which has 5 episodes. Does anyone els agree??? Best show ever??
It is one of the best shows. I've laughed so hard watching those shows in the 90's. It was great, they could make an episode out of anything, because it was on modern day junk. Definately worth the money if you decide to buy the episodes on DVD, Seinfeld is no doubt one of the greatest shows. Ever.
The cream of the crop

i never really liked it. dont know why, but i found almost nothing funny about it.
It's strange really... as they have admitted (and made fun of) on the show several times, it is about absolutely nothing. They could make an episode based entirely in the back of a limozine and almost nothing could happen the entire episode but somehow it would still be hilarious. I was just reminded when I saw a commercial for Coors Light beer... plastic bottles in an insulated package. A girl held two bottles up to her breasts and said something like "Yes. They're plastic, and they're spectacular" and I immediately realized that quote was taken from Seinfeld. Along with "Not that theres anything wrong with that" and a few others.... Definately a great show, but not for everyone.:uhm:

It's the single greatest sitcom ever. No doubt in my mind.
Top of the muffin to YOU! ;)

To each their own. Yeah, about the limousuine thing: Heh, the show just has that..."magic". Makes a lot of us laugh, because there are probably some similar things that have happened to us in real life that were in the show.
My personal favorite is the one where they pitch the idea of Jerry's own sitcom to NBC. They have the whole conversation in the diner about the show about nothing. Goes something like.... Jerry: "So everyone I know is a character on the show..." George: "Right" Jerry: "...and its about nothing" George: "Absoultely nothing" ...some other stuff.... Jerry: "So whats the show about?" George: "It's about nothing." Jerry: "....I think you may have something here" How about you... any favorites?

I don't think I really need to express my opinion on this one...

They did. You must have seen it. The Limo While I can't say I have any favorite episodes, I do have some favorite moments. In one episode that I watched recently, I believe it was The Susie, George had set up his answering machine to play a catchy little tune that he sung. I went like this: Believe it or not, George, isn't at home, please leave a mes-saaage at the beep. I must be out or I'd pick up the pho-one. Where could I be? Believe it or not, I'm not hooome. The way that George pantomimed to the song just cracked me up. Surely you must have seen it...
My favourite episodes:
*The one where Jerry gets the Armani suit from the male comic & keeps having to take him out to dinner
*The Parking Garage episode
*The Contest (Had Me On The Floor Laughing)
*Can't forget the Soup Nazi!

Lol... I knew about the Limo episode, but I was trying to think of the most boring place that you could possibly base an entire episode of a TV show, and ironically it has already been made into an episode of what happens to be my favorite show... kinda strange isnt it?
