I know there have been threads on this in the past, but no recent ones. Anyway, I spent Monday night, the majority of Tuesday, and this morning watching Season 9 of Stargate SG-1 (Sad, I know) :p - It stopped showing on C4 after Season 8 finished (at the time, they were showing Stargate SG-1 & Enterprise). They finished around the same time, thus stopped doing them. Now, for those that live in the UK, will know of Sky (which shows everything). We have it, but it is down stairs, and is usually watched by my Dad, so I don't get to watch Stargate. However, I recently acquired Season 9 and watched the lot. I must say, I'm quite impressed. I must admit, Mitchell is a little too-like O'Neil in the way he acts, and things he says / does, but it is nice to have someone with that character. For those that haven't seen Season 9, I'll put certain parts in Spoilers.

Spoiler: Show
I'm slightly baffled by the fact that most of the species that can actually travel the stars are using Jaffa Ships. The Tok'ra & the Lucian Alliance are both using the same ships. Surely they can make their own ships?
Spoiler: Show
I am somewhat disappointed that we didn't see a single Tok'ra in season 9 either. I was expecting some involvement from them, other than 'hearing about' them.
Spoiler: Show
Ba'al is kind of annoying now. How many of him are there, and which is the 'real' one. Is there one that out rules the others, or are they all equals, or what?

There was loads more I was going to say / ask, but I can't for the life of me remember now. But I did enjoy the season (and the new Doctor) ;) and the fight / space scene was quite good, if not a little short-lived.

Spoiler: Show
Ironic, the Korlev just launched, and then got owned  So much for that ship.

Also, about Season 10 (am wondering if anyone can help me here). The last episode I can find any information on is 'The Quest: Part 1'. Is there anything else from that? I haven't seen Part 2 mentioned anywhere, and I swear Part 1 has been around for a while. I am really hoping that they didn't just 'STOP'. If they did, then a 'polite' message to them is required.

I've been watching S-10, so I'll keep you posted, but SG-1 is hitting someone broadcasting them troubles, however Atlantis is not. SG-1 isn't long for this world, if there IS an 11th season, it will likely be the last one. It's also possible that they kept the episode heavily under-wraps.

I've heard that they are ending it at Season 10... However, what Episode are they on in Season 10 at the moment? Oh, and (reading from that site):

Spoiler: Show
It appears as though Daniel is now a Prior. Does this mean he is or will be leaving the show?

"The Quest: Part 1" was the most recently aired episode. In the US, new episodes will continue in April. However some countries will continue in January.

[QUOTE=Joelteon7;3410007]if there IS an 11th season

It has already been announced that there won't be an 11th. 10 more episodes and the show will be over. There will, however, be a couple of direct to DVD movies.

Yea, I've just read about those movies thanks :) I hope they'll be good. Two possible outcomes, either the Ori get defeated, or Earth does. Though I have no doubt that The Ancients are going to be involved (perhaps die themselves)? No doubt we'll see all in good time. I've read Fall 2007, though I think that is too early. But still, I look forward to it.

I doubt they'll be able to end this series that easily. Stargate is turning into the startrek of this generation. When they tried to end startrek the fan base just kept harping them until they started a new spinoff. Thats the way I see stargate going.

I have every stargate both sg1 and atlantis up to sg1 s10e10 and atlantis s03e16. I wasn't able to find episode 14 of atlantis anywhere. I don't think it ever got aired. And i don't know why they stopped airing them right in the middle of the season at episode 16.

They're already planning another spin-off, so there's no need to harp. :p

The Tok'ra and Lucian Alliance cant build their own Starships yet. The Humans can because of all the help they have given the Asgardians. The human ships are based largely on Asgard technology.

The Go'auld built their large fleets largely with slave labor overseen by Jaffa and Go'aulds.

IIRC the Tok'Ra suffered very heavy casulties recently when they were betrayed. They arent doing much now.

Also the infighting with the Jaffa have pretty much removed them as a coherent fighting force.

I expect the Humans/Ancients/Asgards to win over the Ori. I expect Daniel to refuse to use the Ancient weapon because it will kill all ascended beings.

The new female doctor is Lexa Doig, who most will remember as the Ships Avatar of the Andromeda Ascendent from the show "Andromeda". Yes she is a cutie.

Ba'al seems to operate as equals. I was under impression the original was killed but not sure if it matters if there are multiple identical copies.

Season 10 has been stated to be without doubt the last season of SG1. Expect lots of guest appearances of SG1 cast on Atlantis. And there will be SciFi produced movies.
