I went to the theater with low expectations, a mindless action film with bad acting and a plot so thin I could cut it with a penny edge. I'm glad to say my expectations were surpassed at mach 3, I might add. The FX were great and the story had a good unexpected twist in it which I enjoyed. The acting was good, could have been a bit better, could have been alot worse. Theres also the large plus of seeing Jessica Beil froliking around in a skimpy bikini and the rest of the footage showing her off, which while not being the only good reason to see this film is a little bonus for the guys.

I have never been able to sit and watch "A Space Oddysey 2001" for more than 10 minutes at a time, because it's so damn boring. The tiniest little things took so long to do. Okay do I need to waste 5 minutes seeing the little thing extend with the bubble pod. And don't anyone dare use the "it's realistic" excuse, a pill shaped ship with little bubble pods hasn't been built and it's 2005, besides movies are meant to entertain, not show us just how boring space travel can be. Right now your asking, why the hell am I going on this rant, it's because I see all these reveiws saying it's a rip off of Space Odyssey 2001, and personaly I didn't see it for the reason that I never fully endured watching that film or liked it at all. If Stealth is a rip off of it, then it's a hell of alot better than the original.

End Rating out of 5 stars: 3 & 1/2 I watch films to enjoy them, not to look for reasons not to, unless said reasons prevent me from enjoying the film normaly, then they are negligable

What did you think of this film?

I thought it was an OK movie, it seemed to me like there were trying to fit in different sotry lines all into one or sonething like that because it started off with the Talons agains the UCAV then it was everyone agianst the Talons and the UCAV, it was weird like that, i give it 2.5 Stars

Since i'm a military enthusiast who has studied military aircraft, and being known as the only guy other than my father who bitches at the lack of realism of Iron Eagle and Top Gun... I'd have to say Stealth was totally unrealistic. It was especially shown by the line "You are the best PILOTS in the Navy". This line is an indicator that the directors did not research about the navy. The United States navy does not refer to their Aircraft crewmen as "Pilots". They have always called them 'Aviators' to avoid confusion with Ship pilots. Only the Air Force and Army refer to their airmen as "Pilots". Also, I found it cheap that the one character ripped off the Val Kilmer line from Top Gun... I'd have to say this movie is *Plonked*.

Just by looking at the so called "stealth fighter" I could tell that.

Indeed, it was unrealistic, but not unrealistic in the fact that it interupts enjoyment of the film unless you let it.
