E! Online Entertainment - Iron Man 2 Switcheroo: Cheadle Replaces Howard This really pissed me off, Terrance Howard did a fantastic job in the first one, now i don't even think the second one is even worth renting.

Man, you obviously have no idea what you are talking about. Rhodes is a minor role. Yes, Terrance Howard was alright, but Cheadle is a far better actor any day of the week. Its a shame Howard felt he was worth more money than they were offering, but, hey...he should be happy to be part of such a blockbuster franchise. greed is a dirty bitch.

It also has alot to do with them changing characters in between sequels, which really annoys me, but hey, he was going to do a larger role, that of Iron Mans sidekick, war machine, so yea, i could see him asking for a tad more money. Over reacting i guess you could call it, but i absolutely hate it when they change people in movies, now if it were a gigantic leap in time for the sequel, that's reasonable, but only after it's been a couple weeks, months, or years?! It just messes with my head, plus i prefer him over cheadle, he would've made a better war machine.

Oh, I am with you about changing actors. It can ruin a series. Just look at the 90's series of Batman movies. The first 2 rocked(Keaton), the 3rd was ok(Kilmer), but after that...crappy. But In Iron Man, it really is about Stark. Maybe in a 3rd movie it would make more a difference, but not the 2nd, when he had such a small role in the first.

Yeah this sucks, especially since Ironman 2 is supposed to focus on War Machine. I like Don Cheadle but hopefully a bigger budget will mean more time in the suit. Either way, I'll still be there opening night.

Unless I buy Iron man 1 or rent it...I may not even know the difference since it's still a year and half away. I'll forget what he looked like
