Well what's your opinion on the Daily Show and Colbert Show?

Over here they only air a weekly "Global Edition" both on Comedy Central and CCN International. The one on CNN sucks the most since it sensored (beeped out words like fuck and shit), while the one on Comedy Central is not. This made me wonder why the hell it was caled the daily show untill I stumbled upon their website which had daily episodes.. =p

Anyway, overall I find it interesting and funny. Sometimes the humour is a bit lame (probably because it's a joke only Americans "get" or find funny) but other shows are just great. I really enjoyed the last two weeks were they covered the Republican and Democractic conventions. The coverage on the Reppublican convention being slightly nore funny then those on the Democratic convention.

The Colbert Report is less appealing to me, it has one or two funny moments but overall it just not as funny. Probably because the type of jokes (such as melting plastic throwaway cups in a microwave... meh).

I agree. I like The Daily Show a lot better than The Colbert Report. Although Colbert has his moments, which is why I watch both. Jon Stewart rips apart politician's statements in a funny way, which I love, while Colbert, he just talks nonsense, which is fine by me, since it's funny nonsense.

I watch the Daily Show first though and then the Colbert Report "ust to see what he has to say" (which has it's funny moments sometimes).

Np, though the full episodes only seem to be online for a month or so. But the short clips put together also cover entire episodes.

Compared to the complete thing the summary (global) editions kinda lack...
