Yes, he was. Great flick.
Damn, that's sad. Jack would be so much cooler. "2008?" Holy shit. A hundred years from now.
well Hamilton aside from having played c***knocker, the trickster and voice the joker in the animated series, he also voiced the hobgoblin in a spider-man animated movie and also voiced wolverine in x-men: wolverine's revenge videogame. well I don't know if skywalker can pull it off. put with that picture( http://www.imdb.com/gallery/granitz/1223/Events/1223/MarkHamill_Granitz_221295-400.jpg ), I think he might look good as the Joker. I think Sean Penn wouldn't be bad either, he's got the smile but for the acting, not too sure, anyone knows one movie that sean penn played an insane bad guy? surely these are just rumors, but of all the rumors, this one is the worst: Justin Timberlake as two-face.
The fan outrage about that particular rumour has been so frenzied that I reckon the Powers That Be have already decided to forget that idea, if there ever was any truth to it.
Jack Palance: -walks up to a farmer and drops his gun- Pick it up. Farmer: Oh, no sah! You're gonna shoot me once I touch it! Jack Palance: No I won't. Just pick it up. Farmer: -picks up the gun- Jack Palance: -shoots the farmer as he picks up the gun- You all saw him! He had a gun! (Jack should TOTALLY play The Joker. o_O Nicholson would still be my prime choice, though.)
As long as this movie's Joker is capable of doing the cartoon Joker's laugh (~1999 I think) perfectly, I'll be satisfied.
I think Crispin Glover of "Back to the Future" fame, would make a decent choice.
Mark Hamill gets my vote to play the joker for all the reasons listed above.
I think William DeFoe would make a good Joker.
