I thought this warrants it's own thread. I just saw the newest Harry Potter movie (the third one). I must say it is a whole lot different from the first two, and in my opinion, a helluva lot better! I'll probably get a lot of shit for this, but I enjoyed it much more than Troy (which I still enjoyed). The new director has really livened up the series, and some of the changes he has made are great. You don't really notice in the preview, but the characters spend most of the time in this newest film in regular clothes instead of robes (which always looked silly to me). I could go on and on, but I will just say give it a try even if you didn't like the first two.
troy was tripe. this was gold. it seemed to be lacking something though, i dunno, kind of felt incomplete. but over all, definitely the best movie yet. cuaron gave it that dark overtone that the first two movies missed out on from the books. the sirius black posters were hilarious, the ones with a picture of him screaming and looking in all directions, comedy gold.
I cannot wait to see it. My dad thinks it is corny, but I am a fan of the books. I thought the first two were good, but lacked the quality I got in my own head from reading the books. From reading movie reviews, I hear this movie is very good. I hope I am not as disapointed with this third movie as I was with the first two.
There were lots of little comedic elements mixed in throughout the movie, not just the Sirius Black posters.
Yes well the book is sort of funny in parts too, so I should think they would add that.

It is very popular around the world. I think she has sold the most books out of any author on the planet, not entirely sure though. She is definatly up there for the females.
I remember when Hillary Clinton released her book, and she apparently got a lot of sales. But it was one company buying a ton of her books, lmao.
