XenomorphThe acting's actually good? How about from the kids? In the previous two movies, the acting on behalf of the kids (Harry, whats-his-name and can't-pronounce-her-name) blew.

I said a bit about the acting in the other Harry Potter thread a few days ago. The kids' performance is a lot better than the other two films (thanks to Alfonso's direction), but they're all still far from Haley Joel Osment clones, particularly Daniel Radcliffe.

Yes, I agree. However, the movies are still good in my opinion, despite the bad acting. I do like that Emma Watson girl though. Edit-I hate the character that plays Ron. He is nothing like I would imagine Ron to look like. And he is the worst actor in the film. Check out his whining in the second movie during every spider scene. Makes me want to shoot myself hearing him whine.

yes, I think we can all agree that the new Harry Potter movie is good, and hilarious, and that we can expect the same from future ones...

Number 4 starts to get a little serious, and number 5 has a very dark tone to it.

True, and in my opinion the 4th book is the best. I was very confused by it though. Maybe seeing it all happen on the big screen will help me to understand it more.
