Well, I've jumped in and seen two episodes so far, somewhat enjoying it but I am a bit ADD with these slow paced series,

I gave it an initial go, probably about 3 episodes. I'm not a fan of, so far, the entire show being in flashback/present/flashback fform. All the jumping around quickly lost my interest.

I like the idea of multiple timelines that merge at some point, but it is not particularly well executed in the series. Characters go from teenager to 100 years old with barely a noticeable change in appearance or behvior. Maybe it was done intentionally to confuse people and have a bit of a surprise moment...

But there are a couple of things that work surprisingly well, like Geralt and Dandelion.

I am as surprised as anyone; all this real-life stuff I have gotten myself into is taking a toll, but every once in a while I come back here and just enjoy being a nerd.

As far as I'm aware Witcher was written in 1980s as some short side-project by some Polish guy. It's difficult to make a movie without a decent long book to base it on, that's why quality of Game of Thrones series went downhill after they ran out of author's material.
