...are all on there way to the big screen. Yes...seriously yes lol.

The original TJ Hooker TV show ran for five seasons starting in 1982. Shatner starred as veteran police sergeant T.J. Hooker, and the cast also included Adrian Zmed, Heather Locklear and Richard Herd. The new feature film will be an ‘action comedy’, which is the same thing that was done with 2004 film Starsky & Hutch, which was an action comedy based on the 70s cop show. That film featured cameos from the original show stars, but no word yet on if Shatner, Zmed, Lockear or Herd will be in this new film. Variety reports the new TJ Hooker film film (being written by the writing team behind the Tremors movies) will focus on TJ Hooker and his father, so Shat seems a natural for that part (the dad). More details at Variety.

TJ Hooker Getting Movie Reboot (Really!) – Will Shatner Be In That? | TrekMovie.com

The news of the ViewMaster movie comes from The Hollywood Reporter, which states that Fringe writer Brad Caleb Kane will pen the script. It is hard to get one’s head around the concept of a movie based on the View-Master toy, and it makes the recent announcements of movie adaptations of TJ Hooker and the Asteroids Videogame seem much more plausible. Kane gave a bit of a hint of the direction for the film on Twitter over the weekend, saying he wants the movie to be "like the old ’80s Amblin movies: ‘Goonies,’ ‘Young Sherlock’ … in that vein", which is similar to comments made by Orci and Kurtzman regarding the movie about MMORPG players they are making withMasi Oka (announced one month ago). With Bob and Alex attached to three big movies from Summer 2009 (Star Trek, The Proposal, Transformers 2), they are quite the hot commodities these days. Right now they are coming off the Transformers 2 press tour and trying to finish up the script for the comic adaptation of Cowboys and Aliens, along with managing a number of projects in development and keeping an eye on Fringe (which is in production now). Hopefully they will be able to put all that aside when they (along with Damon Lindelof) dive into the Star Trek sequel script, which they say is their next focus after taking a break.

Orci and Kurtzman To Produce Movie Based On View-Master Toy (Really!) | TrekMovie.com I can't find the article about the Battleship(yes THAT Battleship) movie but trust me they're getting people together for it aswell as The Goonies(sequel not remake), The Neverending Story(remake), Ghostbusters 3, TRON 2 and Jurrasic Park 4(same guy as Neverending Story though this is wont be for a few years).

Police Academy 8, Three Men and a Bride (sequel to Three Men and a Baby/Little Lady), Beverly Hills Cop 4, Gremlins(remake on the table), Monoply(yes the boardgame) and Shrek Forever After(in post-production with four more planned) Shrek Forever After (2010) The producer of the TJ Hooker movie really wants The Shat and all of the other original cast.
