Everyone has a favorite, however, only a proud few can be crowned classic of all time. My personal favorite is a combo of "the birds" being hitchcock's most recognized film, and "JAWS" (still talking about it today, and often) SOOO post your favorite and y it should be the best.:feedback:

Definately Bladerunner for Sci-fi, The story (great adaption), the style (retrofitting lovelyness) and great performances too (is deckard reallly a replicant or not confusedx.gifsmilie.gif *that was a spoiler* Dreadnought you like Bruce Sterling n Gibbson etc? Horrorwise I think Texas Chainsaw Massacer possibly OR the japanese version of the Ring. Personally I love the Dead trilogy (quadrilogy now) Dawn of the Dead rocks!!, zombie films in general are good :)

Well, if you actually mean the sci-fi-horror genre then there's no question that Alien has the crown, though The Thing is rather great also.

Yeah Alien wins hands down on that front, I think they're making another film arnt they? A-3 + ressurection where a bit crap imo. I was very dissapointed with AVP, it could have been so much better!!

Meh, they've rediscovered the fact that Alien and Predator = box office, so you can bet we'll have more PWS Anderson-flavoured xeno-acrobatics sending waves of dirty mixed feelings over fans in cinemas across the world in the not too distant future.
